December-ish

You know those meme lists that circulate thru your feeds around the new years?

It used to be — back when I wrote a more scattered, personal blog — that I sat down during December and meticulously wrote an annual retrospective as a single end-of-the-year list post of answers to be published as one massive read on December 31st.

I’m assuming, but I think few if any of my readers want something like that here.

Yet, there is comfort in tradition and purpose in pattern. So to kick of a similar tradition on The Cast Iron Guy blog, I’ve turned December into a collection of daily themed posts on a similar, year-ending wrap up set of topics. One topic per day, sometimes personal, sometimes on theme, sometimes completely out of the blue.

Thirty one topics. Thirty one posts. Not exactly a list, but close.

If (and when) the years press on, hopefully December becomes a collection of closing out the year in style posts and an interesting kick off to the upcoming new year. If not, then enjoy a more personal take on the last month of this year.
